John Hunter-Murray, TAM NLP Academy, Bangalore.
I recently returned from a remarkable experience in a tiny
village in the Delta region of Andhra Pradesh, called Chilumuru, and
more specifically at a school called Sri Rama Rural Academy. Mr.
Tulasi Prasad,Ramana,RajaSekar the 3rd Generation Owners of the School,
are remarkable for the vision, passion and fine human qualities that
define true leaders. Their passion about educating rural children, who
have no chance, is shared by 60 or so teaching staff whom I was
invited to address on the application of NLP and Neuro-Semantics to
their teaching profession. This session was preceded by an enthusiastic
audience of senior students, whose bright eyes shone as I opened up
before them the possibilities that await their attention and careers in
the big wide world beyond their classroom. I was taken me on a tour of
the countryside round about, and I marveled at the dense greenery and
rich crops that this delta region delivers for its people. Local
people, though poor, welcomed me with smiles and Telugu, and with my
companion’s help I was able to enjoy their understanding of the river
system and their farming techniques.
Thank you, Sri Rama Rural Academy, Mr Tualsi and family,
teachers and children, for a truly remarkable experience. And I thank
Mr Aloysius Deepak of Hyderabad for making it possible. To the next
time!! |

KVS Choudary, IAS 2011 Batch
(Presently posted as Assistant Collector, Indore)
Classes - 5th Class to Intermediate
From 1992-1999
I studied for 8 years in Sri Rama Gurukulam. I strongly
believe that the foundation laid in Sri Rama helped me immensely in my
later years wherever I went. The discipline and rigor of Sri Rama
equipped me and prepared me to take on challenges that I faced in
future years.
The day long schedule was hectic but enjoyable. I fondly
remember my early morning study hours though it was difficult to get up
early in winters as well. At the same time, I also cherish my evening
sports hour when almost every student was found in the ground playing
various games. The foundations of English grammar, nuances of
languages, basic mathematics were so adeptly grilled into our heads
that they become part of our overall personality than as something
memorized mechanically.
Sri Rama is not only about studies. I with my classmates
participated in several quiz, debating, essay competitions, mathematics
& science exhibitions, several talent tests and got a feel of
competition outside. Cultural programmes in the evenings made me
experience the other facet of our personality and explore deeper.
Various events that students themselves used to organize helped us hone
our leadership skills. Most important of all, teachers who were always
with us helped me develop interpersonal skills and attempt to become a
good human being. Even after 13 years after passing out from school, I
have a strong conviction that whatever I am today is surely
attributable to a large extent to my grooming in SriRama. |

Hi All:
If someone asks me what makes me to feel the lifetime
privilege…I started retrospection and can answer with full hearted that
“I have studied in Sri Rama Rural Kalasala”.
Good impact of Mother, medicine will shown in future not in present
the same way my school days here was engraved me to cultivate the good
habits and to become more discipline also a complete mature man. I have
learnt from this organization about the commitment and accountability
towards ones duties, I would like to share a live example: After completion of studies this management has sent back my balance ignored pocket money of Rs.487 by MO. This shows how this school teaches us the ethics not by mere speeches.
“It is a school of ancient practices with modern vision”.
It is always remains a sweet home in my heart for a lifetime.
